1. About Missing Things

Missing Things is a digital lost and found platform designed to help users report lost items, share found items, and reconnect owners with their belongings. Missing Things also offers a Digital Safe feature for securely storing information about valuables.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

To use Missing Things, you must be at least 16 years old, provide accurate information, and use the platform in compliance with applicable laws. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Posting Lost and Found Items

When posting content, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to upload shared photos or content, and that you will not post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings.

4. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the platform for illegal purposes, post stolen goods intentionally, harass or abuse other users, share false information, upload malicious software, attempt to hack the platform, or collect other users' data without permission.

5. User Interactions and Digital Safe

Missing Things acts only as a facilitator. We do not verify ownership, guarantee successful recovery, or take responsibility for user meetings or exchanges. Users are responsible for safe communication and returns.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information stored in Digital Safe and for keeping your account credentials secure.

6. Intellectual Property and Privacy

Platform content, branding, design, text, software, and functionality belong to Missing Things and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Liability, Indemnification, and Termination

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Missing Things is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and are not liable for losses, disputes, theft, or failed recoveries resulting from user interactions.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

8. Changes, Governing Law, and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform means you accept the changes.
